God of sun, and God of Japanese ancestor

The Grand Shrine of Ise, Ise Jingu, comprises two main shrines (Naiku & Geku) and 123 affiliated smaller shrines. Naiku enshrines the God of Sun. It is the ancestor God of the Emperor, and the ancestor God of all Japanese. According to legend, God left the palace 2000 years ago and traveled around many places. Then finally settled down on the ground near Isuzu River, the place that is now Naiku. All buildings and facilities have been renewed every 20 years for the past 1300 years. This might be the ultimate system of eternity!
