Early Evening on Nagasaki Harbor

<p>A famous part of Nagasaki’s Harbor is an area known as Dejima which technically speaking, is an Island although it’s hard to notice this at first glance</p>

<p>As the sun began to set the distant mountains become more visible</p>

<p>Many shops and restaurants line the front of the main harbor</p>

<p>A last view of the bay looking out eastwards</p>

<p>With the fading daylight, the restaurants begin to open for the evening</p>

Located on the west coast of Kyushu is the bustling city of Nagasaki. Boasting a wealth of interesting attractions, this is a great place to explore on foot where you can discover many impressive sights including a picturesque harbor which is best seen during the evening.

By sheer chance, I arrived just as the sun was beginning to set and the evening lights were coming on creating the perfect setting as you gaze out over the horizon. For anyone wanting to spend the evening here, there is an abundance of trendy harbor side cafes and restaurants to whet your appetite
