Somehow this temple had never been on my must-visit list when I came to Tokyo, until I got inspired and curious by Brian's lovely photo story and Tomoko's article. I knew that there were some cherry trees around Zojo-ji, so I packed my camera on a beautiful day towards the end of March to check them out. The scene with salarymen and office ladies enjoying their bento underneath the blooming trees was great to watch and the blossoms were in a good 'mood' to act as a model.
