From where Tokyo Tower and the Skytree seem to be equal

Ebisu Garden Place is a unique location from where both towers, Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Skytree, seem to be of the same height. There is a Chinese restaurant, Toh Ten Koh, on the 39th floor of the observation space which gives this view.

Ebisu Garden Place can be accessed via the Ebisu Skywalk, and it is just a 5-minute walk from JR Ebisu station. Night-time illumination is particularly beautiful.

Moving on to the top of the Ebisu Garden Place Tower, the first view you get is the Shinjuku skyline. The fast elevator that takes visitors to the top has transparent glass walls and you can enjoy the beautiful view while going up.

View of Mount Fuji from the Ebisu Garden Place observation deck. On a clear day the scene is really beautiful with no other tall building or construction blocking the view.

Now for the mathematically inclined visitors, note that the Tokyo Skytree (634m) is almost twice the height of Tokyo Tower (333m). They are also 8.2 kilometers away from each other. So if stand at a distance "x" from the Tokyo Tower which also is "2x" from the Tokyo Skytree, then I should be able to view the two towers appearing to be of the same height.

Beautiful traffic lights including the view of Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower, an ideal place for a dinner with customers, family of friends.

Ebisu Garden Place, in walking distance from JR Ebisu Station, refers to a skyscraper complex which includes a Mitsukoshi department store, the Michelin 3-star Chateau Restaurant Taillvent-Robuchon and the Westin Hotel Building. I had visited this place many years ago with some colleagues during summertime when the beer season was in full swing. I finally went once again this winter, but for a different reason. For those mathematically inclined, the Ebisu Garden Place observation floor offers a unique view of Tokyo's famous towers, Tokyo Tower and Tokyo Skytree.
