Venue : Koishikawa Korakuen Gardens When : Early Feb - Early Mar 2025

Koishikawa Korakuen is a beautiful garden located in Tokyo's Bunkyo ward, and it's well-known as a spot for enjoying the best of autumn's changing leaves around the November timeframe. It's no slouch at other times of year, either, and the garden grounds are home to around 150 plum trees that signal spring's impending arrival – the blossoms are typically at their best during the February timeframe.

The Koishikawa Korakuen Plum Festival is held during this period, and along with the floral beauty there will also be cultural performances, guided garden tours, and food trucks selling various goodies.

Admission to the garden is priced at 300 JPY for adults, 150 JPY for seniors over 65, and free for elementary school-aged students and younger.

Getting there

Koishikawa Korakuen is located a short walk from Iidabashi Station, which is served by the Toei Oedo Line, the JR Chūō-Sōbu Line, and the Tokyo Metro Tozai, Yurakucho, and Namboku Lines.
