Tokyo Curiosity 2020 Shibuya is a photography exhibition taking place at the Bunkamura Art Center during late October to early November. The inaugural Tokyo Curiosity event took place in 2018 at Shibuya Hikarie, and then went on to Paris and Berlin where it was met with critical acclaim. The 2020 iteration of Tokyo Curiosity will showcase the works of 100 different photographers, with each piece on display highlighting a unique side of Japan's constantly changing capital city.
Adult admission to the event is priced at ¥1000.
Getting there
The Bunkamura Art Center is located approximately 7 minutes on foot from Shibuya Station's Hachiko Exit. The station is served by multiple lines, including the JR Yamanote Line, the Tokyo Metro Ginza, Hanzomon, and Fukutoshin lines, and the Keio Inokashira line to name a few.
There is no dedicated on-site parking available for those who plan to drive, however the museum recommends the nearby Tokyu Honten Underground Carpark if you are traveling by car. Parking is charged at ¥300 per 30 minutes on weekdays, and ¥400 per 30 minutes on weekends. No discounts or parking validation is provided from the museum.
