The daffodil field at Tokyo's Kasai Rinkai Park is the largest of its kind in a metropolitan area, with an incredible 200,000 flowers sourced from famous daffodil spots like Shimoda City in Shizuoka Prefecture and Sumoto City in Hyogo Prefecture. The sight of all the blooming flowers with the giant ferris wheel in the background is definitely photo-worthy!
The Flower and Light Movement event at the park combines the daffodils with after-dark illuminations, and there will be lights in shades of white, yellow, or light blue depending on the time of day.
Along with the bounty of blooms and lights to enjoy, there will be a variety of food trucks set up at the venue on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays during the event period from 5pm until 9pm.
