There are a myriad of incredible destinations to enjoy sakura season in Tokyo, and one of Shinagawa's top spots is Gotenyama Garden. A festival is held at the garden when the blossoms are at their best, and it includes additional activities like shamisen performances, after-dark illuminations, tea ceremonies (participation is via a lottery system), and plenty more.
Getting there
Gotenyama Garden is located around five minutes on foot from Kita Shinagawa Station, which is served by the Keikyu Main Line.
A free shuttle bus also runs to the garden from Shinagawa Station's Takanawa Exit. More information on the shuttle service including timetables can be found here.
