A special exhibition taking place at the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum will explore a range of botanical artworks and items which were inspired by London's Kew Gardens. The gardens have been a favorite of the British Royal Family throughout history, and the exhibition will showcase floral drawings and paintings, pottery inspired by flora, and more. Approximately 100 pieces in total will be displayed at the event.
Adult admission is priced at 1400 yen.
The Teien Art Museum is located 7 minutes on foot from Meguro Station on the JR Yamanote Line (East Exit) and the Tokyu Meguro Line (Main Gate). Alternatively, it's a 6 minute walk from Shirokanedai Station (Exit 1) on the Toei Mita Line.
For those who plan to drive, there is paid parking available on the museum grounds. It is charged at a rate of ¥ 800 for one hour, and then an additional ¥ 400 per half hour thereafter.
