Ueno Zoo #2 – Beautiful Birds

Peacocks, parakeets, flamingos, penguins, and emu

Ueno Zoo has about 500 species of amazing birds. The gorgeous peacock doesn’t always show his beautiful plumage, but he is still elegant (0:05-0:12).

Colorful parakeets are always fun to observe (0:13-0:18). I heard that cockatoos are known to scream crazily, but interestingly, when I was there this cockatoo was totally silent (0:19-028).

The flamingos in Ueno Zoo have beautiful dark pink wings. They were enjoying the warm afternoon sunshine (0:29-0:54).

Penguins seem to be very careful about everything, and also...they are cowards (0:55-1:19)!

The shoebill (1:20-1:29) and pelicans (1:29-1:39) seem to be easygoing birds.

And the emu showed me his beautiful black eyes, looking directly into the lens of my camera (1:45-2:08).
