The place is called 'Echizen Bamboo Doll Village', and various kinds of traditional bamboo dolls were exhibited. It was 'Gallery Reimei', where the works of a legendary bamboo doll artist Reimei Morota (1931-2010) were displayed. It's hard to describe how I felt when I saw his works. I became speechless, and like a mad woman took hundreds of pictures. If you ever come to Fukui, don't miss the golden opportunity to see his works with your own eyes!
