Brazilian Day is a highly-anticipated annual event that occurs mid-summer. This year the free two-day event landed on July 20-21. Festival goers don their best yellow and green attire to celebrate Brazilian culture in Yoyogi Park. The crowds come in masses for the live musical performances, Capoeira battles and of course, the food! Take your pick of the many traditional Brazilian cuisine options. Try a pastel (thin pastry), coxinha (little chicken thigh) or feijoada (pork or beef stew with rice). Enjoy the lively atmosphere and maybe you'll pick up some Portuguese! Lindo maravilhoso!
